M90 - Doesburg - Doesburg

Doesburg received city rights in 1237, making it one of the oldest cities in the Netherlands. The place is strategically located at the mouth of the Oude IJssel and the Gelderse IJssel and has therefore grown into an important fortified city. Doesburg's medieval street pattern is still completely intact and the city center has no fewer than 150 listed monuments.
