M71 - Harderwijk - Vanghentoren

The Vanghentoren owes its name to the city prison that was located here for a long time. But before that time the tower was part of the Burg, the city castle of the Count of Gelre in Harderwijk. Nowadays, only the street names Blokhuissteeg and Burgtstraat still remind us of the site of the old count's castle.
