W08-Asperen - Fort Asperen

Fort Asperen was part of the New Dutch Waterline. It was a so-called tower fortress. Since 1981, the fort has been known for its cultural events and has therefore been renamed KunstFort. Fort Asperen is thus the first fort of the Dutch Waterline with a cultural destination.
