W03-Tiel - Inundatiekanaal

A straight, three-kilometer-long canal that connects the Waal with the Linge runs right through Tiel. Few know that this was part of the New Dutch Waterline. If Holland was in danger, the lock in Tiel was opened. As a result, the Linge received more water and was able to flood the land 20 km downstream.
