L76 - Baak - Granaatinslag na de bevrijding

The village of Baak appeared to be relatively unscathed from the war. On April 2, 1945, the last German resistance was rounded up. Finally liberated! But the joy was short-lived. Less than 48 hours after the liberation, the village was hit by a shell impact that claimed nine lives, six of which were children.
