What also immediately catches the eye is the former craft house of the fishmongers, 'In den Grooten Zalm'. The name of the house is embossed above the door. A banderole with the inscription 'In den Grooten Zalm' winds around the gilded salmon. The sumptuous Renaissance façade illustrates the richness of this craft in an appropriate way: other crafts still built Gothic and in wood at the time.
