Landhuis Weizigt

Only a mansion has remained of the once extensive country estate Weizigt, with a coach house on the northwest side. The whole is now located in the 20th-century park Weizigt, in the middle of the city of Dordrecht. The urbanization around the house began with the construction of the station in 1872. Due to the construction of the station, the buildings in the area rapidly increased. The outside park kept getting smaller and Weizigt eventually became wedged between the station and the urban expansions. The outside is now on a dead end street with a park in front.
