Landgoed Voorlinden

Landgoed Voorlinden covers 40 hectares and the area is characterized by woods, water features and meadows. In 1584 the name 'Voorlinden' appears for the first time. In the period 1803-1835, a landscape-style park was created on this site, based on a design from 1804 by landscape architect Johan David Zocher Sr. and performed since 1834 by his son Jan David Zocher. In 1824 the house was bought by Mr. C.Th. Elout, then Minister of State.
