Kasteel Sypesteyn

This castle was built at the beginning of the 20th century on the spot where a castle previously stood. A precious art collection, collected by esquire Henri van Sypesteyn (1857 - 1937), forms the basis of Kasteel-Museum Sypesteyn in Loosdrecht. In addition to the collection of portraits, furniture, silver and glass objects, clocks and statues, there is a collection of beautiful porcelain. Especially the Loosdrecht porcelain is worthwhile.
