Kasteel Vorden

Vorden castle is located in a fairytale park forest with streams. Behind the coach house is a beautiful vegetable garden called the Hof van Hackfort. In 1400 there was already a house here, complete with outer bailey and moat. The current castle was built later. The building to the right of the castle used to house the gardener's house, the orangery and the coach house. The castle is privately inhabited and is therefore not accessible. The castle is open to the public, so come by. From April 1, 2018 (at Easter), the castle is open every weekend for a viewing.
