Waterstaatskerk, hervomrd

As early as the year 1000, Overschild is mentioned in a document in which Sibraht in Extra Saldmeda undertakes to pay 30 coins to the abbey at Werden aan de Roer. The village church is significantly younger, it was built in 1880 in a sober water management style.
