One-aisled church with Romanesque round arch windows in the north wall. The church has a three-sided closed priest choir. The gothic pointed arch windows also date from that time. Masonry entrances in the north and south façade. In the pointed roof rack hangs a bell from the 13th or 14th century. This clock, together with the clocks from Uitwierde and Warfhuizen, is one of the oldest in the province of Groningen. Inside a blue-painted wooden barrel vault.
