Kerk Solwerd

Neoclassical hall church in Solwerd, now a suburb of Appingedam. The descendant of a church demolished early in the 16th century has large buttresses on the corners. These contrast somewhat with the cornice with pediment above an entrance marked by double pilasters. Outside a wooden bell-seat. White plastered interior from the construction period; we see the pilasters of the exterior inside.
