L57: De Man met Twee Hoeden

The National Canadian monument in Apeldoorn is called: "The Man with Two Hats". There is a twin monument in Ottawa. The two images express the solidarity between the two countries. The two hats also represent: war and peace, oppression and liberation, death and life, joy and sorrow. Many Dutch consider the Canadians to be the real liberators of the Netherlands.
