L56: De Slag om Otterlo

The battle of Otterlo was 'the last big' battle in the Netherlands. The town got stuck between Canadians moving west and Germans trying to get their last troops to safety behind the Grebbe line. Communication in those days was very poor. An unexpected heavy blow followed after Otterlo had actually already been liberated.
