M14: Kasteel De Kinkelenburg

The earliest mention of De Kinkelenburg Castle can be found in 1403, when Johan van Ambe was loaned to 'a house ende hoffstadt with graves and the cingel graves up to Bemmel'. At that time, the castle probably consisted of a square stone residential tower, the foundations of which are still under the current building.
