M10: Verdwenen dorp

Wolfheze is an old Veluwe village that disappeared completely in the 17th century. The village has only recently been rediscovered and we can say a little more about its history. For example, about twenty burial mounds have been found. In the area now called Laag-Wolfheze, the foundations of an eleventh-century church were discovered at the end of the 19th century. This was just south of where the highway now runs.
