Haastrechtse Molen

In the past there were about fifty windmills in the Krimpenerwaard to grind excess water from the polders to the river. There are now three more intact. The Haastrecht windmill is one of them. The polder mill dates from 1862 and was used to drain excess water from the Polder Beneden Haastrecht.
