In Hazerswoude, along the Gemeneweg that connects Hazerswoude-Dorp and Hazerswoude-Rijndijk, a characteristic hollow post mill has stood since 1639. The traditionally known name is Gemenewegsemolen, later the 'Rooie Wip', but the windmill is also lovingly called 'the old lady'. It is a photogenic windmill in the Green Heart. It no longer has a function in water management. Yet she still grinds.
