Country house

Buitenplaats Vroenhof

The history of country house Vroenhof goes all the way back to the 17th century. The house was not exactly in the same place at the time and the name of the country house has also been changed several times. In 1796 it was still called 'Ruimzicht' and around 1817 it was given the name 'Weltevreden'. It was not renamed Vroenhof until 1933. In the meantime, the old country house was demolished and replaced by a brand new building. Later, an orangery was added there by the person who was the owner of the Vroenhof country estate at the time. Around the country house you will find a garden with centuries-old trees, a pond and a grape greenhouse. The garden is laid out in the landscape style. It is not possible to visit the house and the garden, but you can of course admire the country house from the outside.
