Fort Bezuiden Spaarndam

This fort is part of the Defense Line of Amsterdam: a thirty-five kilometer long ring of forts, batteries and waterworks 15 to 20 kilometers from Amsterdam, built between 1880 and 1914 to protect the capital. The defense line is on the World Heritage List of Unesco.
