Rensumaborg

The Rensumaborg became the property of the Alberda van Menkema family around 1695. In 1710 the deposit was renovated to its current appearance. From 1829 the deposit was no longer used as a residence. In addition to housing a horticultural school, it also housed a restaurant. The Rensuma Boon Foundation bought the deposit in 1996. The estate is open to the public, the deposit itself cannot be viewed.
