In the border area of Drenthe and Friesland you will find Eethuis Aekingerzand, on the beautiful Canadameer. A nice place to join your wanderings through the Drents Friese Wold, a beautiful national park. You can enjoy cycling and walking through nature here, but you will also find many nice villages.
