De Ballasthoeve is an old'brown\\\' cafe with two garden terraces and a playground for the little ones. You can enjoy a delicious Belgian pint and/or a coffee with Limburg flan. It is located in the Limburg Kempen, synonymous with lots of forest, greenery and nature. You can also spend the night in the group accommodation, the holiday home or at the mini campsite. De Ballasthoeve is a proud Host of Bosland! As Host of Bosland I am part of a network of entrepreneurs who provide visitors and guests with qualitative information about Bosland: the largest adventure forest in Flanders. This gigantic nature core of 5137 ha in North Limburg extends over the municipalities of Hechtel-Eksel, Pelt, Peer and Lommel and mainly consists of forests, heathland, grasslands and stream valleys. Bosland preserves and develops its beautiful and high-quality nature, but also opens it up to the general public as much as possible.
