Sint-Jan Kerk

At the beginning of the previous century, many flower bulb growers moved to the northern part of North Holland. Many growers came from South Holland in particular. This created the need for a parish church of their own. In 1928, JG Verhoeff was appointed the first pastor and also the construction pastor of the new parish. From November 1928, they lived in a temporary church. On 13 September 1931, the new parish church of St. John the Evangelist was solemnly blessed by Dean Guilonard of Schagen. Many improvements have been made over the years. The church is still well maintained today.
