Welcome to the Green Heart! This cycle route takes you from Moerkapelle and takes you past Gouda, Moordrecht and the Reeuwijkse Plassen. A beautiful area to explore by bike! The name Moerkapelle is derived from a small church or chapel that was located at the swamp. The cycle route continues via Gouda to the Reeuwijkse Plassen, which are located in the middle of the Green Heart. The Reeuwijkse Plassen are separated from each other by narrow roads. The route you cycle is in a water-rich environment. The surrounding meadow area of the Reeuwijkse Plassen is very important for nature. Via Reeuwijk you cycle back to Moerkapelle.
