Blushing out
First you drive through Lichtenvoorde, a pleasant town where you can admire the St. Boniface Church from 1913. In the countryside you immediately experience the tranquility that the Achterhoek is known for. Enjoy a quick downshift while you cycle past meadows and fields. You can relax here.
Korenburgerveen
Just before Zieuwent you pass a Maria chapel from 1946, in the center of the village is the Sint-Werenfridus church from 1899. You cycle further through the Achterhoek country on winding roads where there are almost no cars. You regularly see a beautiful old thatched farmhouse. You also drive along the edge of the Korenburgerveen. You cannot ride through this raised moor area by bike, so just get off and enjoy the unique natural beauty on foot.
