Two national parks on the Veluwe

This route takes you from the Veluwezoom visitor center to the floodplains of the IJssel. You will also come all the way to the edge of the Hoge Veluwe National Park. Two national parks in one ride!

Veluwezoom
The route starts at the Natuurmomenten visitor center. In this beautiful farm complex you will find Brasserie Veluwezoom. The height differences with impressive views over rolling moors make for a sporty bike ride, where you can feel your calves every now and then! But the landscape is so beautiful that it is more than worth it. You can enter easily, because after a few kilometers you will pass Paviljoen de Posbank for a cup of coffee.

High Veluwe
You will also pass Deelen Air Base Museum. Here you can disembark to learn more about the nightly air war over the Netherlands during World War II. You cycle to Hoenderloo along the edge of the Hoge Veluwe National Park. From here you continue to the Loenermark, a beautiful heathland. Just before the end of the route you will pass Landgoed Rhederoord, where you can enjoy a delicious meal in the restaurant.
