Tour of the Scheveningen coast

Enjoy a terrace at the touristy Second Harbor of Scheveningen and then straight through the dunes to Madestein and Ockenburgh Estate. This route takes you past the Second Harbour, which has now become a popular tourist attraction with numerous restaurants. A little later you cycle into the dunes. Madestein is a nature and recreation area that was created in 1969 in 2 polders: a varied landscape of ponds, reed collars, forest and lawns. Further on you pass through Ockenburgh Estate, a wooded country estate that originally dates from the seventeenth century. The country house of the same name originally dates from the seventeenth century, but was extensively renovated in 1889. You then drive straight through the center to Meijendel, also a beautiful dune area, on the north side of the city.
