On the north side of Zoetermeer you can take a walk along a number of lakes. Get a breath of fresh air while you leisurely walk along the rippling water. Delicious!
Benthuizerplas
You will soon walk past the Noordhovense Plas. It is nice and quiet walking here, ideal for shaking off the everyday routine. From the dam between the bank and a few houses you walk along the Benthuizerplas. You can spot many birds here.
Zoetermeerse Plas
Along the edge of a beautifully landscaped residential area you arrive at the Zoetermeerse Plas. This lake was created by sand extraction. Along the green banks, reed collars wave in the wind, and you will also pass some zones with swamp forests. You can take a bench along the water to enjoy the beautiful view and the silence.
