Description
Bussloo is a special recreation area in the IJsselvallei. Ideal for exploring with a walk.
Terrace
Today you will walk around the Bussloo, a 12 hectare lake that was created as a sand quarry during the construction of the A1. A beautiful and varied recreational area has been created around the lake. The first part of the route takes you through a park-like environment with playing fields.
Beach
Many trees and tall shrubs grow on the edge of the Bussloo. It is wonderful to walk here along the rustling greenery. After a while you walk through a section of forest that is interrupted several times by a field. The east side of the Bussloo is more open, so you have a beautiful view of the rippling water. If the weather is nice you can take a dip.
