In the village of Graft you will find the smallest candy store in the Netherlands: Bram en Aagie. The shop may be small, but the range of old-fashioned candy is not at all. Sniff around here and find the tastiest candies from grandmother's time to enjoy. Great for on the road or as a tasty souvenir of a bike ride or a walk in the area. The candy shop is located in the parental home of the grandfather of the current owner of the shop. This sweet shop has a long family history. Pay a visit to this shop to immerse yourself in the time of yesteryear. This shop also serves as a starting point for boat trips through the Rijp: www.rondvaartderijp.nl. You can also book complete days out here: www.dagjederijp.nl. From here you will be taken along the most beautiful spots of De Rijp and Graft, while the skippers will tell you fascinating anecdotes. You really have to experience it yourself. For more information, visit www.bramenaagie.nl.

The Beemster World Heritage Site is home to the Beemster's only mill on Hobrederweg: the Nightingale flour mill. This octagonal upper barrow from 1704 still works as a flour mill. On Saturday and Wednesday you can buy a bag of wind-ground flour here.
