Cycle route Kempen-Broek

From Budel you first drive through the Weerterbos, one of the few really old forests in the area. This nature reserve consists of a beautiful mix of moist and dry forests, grassland plots and small heaths. You drive on low-traffic roads between the fields and fields to Nederweert, where you will find some beautiful historic buildings. In the outskirts of Weert it is wonderful to cycle on leafy paths. You drive through the Tungelerwallen, a small but beautiful and varied nature reserve. You cycle through Altweerterheide, further on you ride along the edge of the forest of the IJzeren man. On the right you look out over the fields, a beautiful environment. You drive along the canal to the protected village view of Budel-Dorplein. The route ends at Café De Wielerbaan: time for a terrace!
