Ravel's Regional Forest
While you're cycling, you can view some beautiful houses and farms. You cycle along the main avenue through the Ravels Gewestbos. A wide variety of coniferous and deciduous trees can be found in this nature reserve. Just before Oosthoven you drive through a beautiful area with streams and grasslands.
Turnhouts Fen area
Then you drive along the leafy Canal from Dessel to Turnhout. You cycle into the Turnhouts Vennengebied: a large nature reserve characterized by heathland, fens and silence. In this area you pick up the Bels Lijntje: a former railway route between Turnhout and Tilburg. This cycle path is wonderful to cycle on. You pass a lookout tower, climb it for a beautiful panorama.
