Description

First you drive through the land of Heusden and Altena. You pass the Pompveld, an unspoilt nature reserve. Further on you pass two flour mills: de Hoop from 1838 and the Twee Gebroeders from 1872. While crossing the Afgedamde Maas, you enter Gelderland. Here too, meadows, waterways and beautiful old villages alternate. Enjoy the peace and quiet on the many car-free roads, so you can travel for miles here. From Ammerzoden you make a shortcut after Zaltbommel, after which you drive onto the Waaldijk. At junction 20 you pass the Battery under Brakel, part of the New Dutch Waterline. Back in Brabant you will pass the Wijde Alm, a widening of the Alm river. The route ends at Brasserie de Laegt.
