Clumsy spot
Just outside Eibergen you can relax at Hotel De Kastanjefabriek. After a refreshing night you will have plenty of energy for a bike ride through the beautiful Achterhoek country. At Shortgolf Berkelland you can enjoy a cozy terrace. What immediately stands out here: the silence! And the lovely small-scale landscape with its old farms. You will pass through the village of Haarlo, where the octagonal monumental church is called De Kluntjespot (sugar bowl) by the residents.
Picturesque Ruurlo
You also cycle through Ruurlo, a pleasant town with a beautiful historic center. Here you can view, among other things, the fourteenth-century Village Church. Here you will also see Mill Agneta, a wood and corn mill from 1851 that is named after a lady from the family that inhabited Ruurlo Castle for centuries. After many beautiful kilometers in the countryside you drive through Eibergen. Here you will see, among other things, the beautiful Old Matthew Church from 1500.
