Description
You can take a walk through the countryside between Moergestel and Biest-Houtakker. Put on your sturdy shoes for a trip full of peace and natural beauty.
Wilhelmina Canal
Along the leafy banks of the Wilhelmina Canal you look out over the rippling water, so you quickly get into a good rhythm. On the other side of the canal you walk on an unpaved path along the Maten, a small-scale forest area. Further on you walk along the valley of the meandering Reusel.
Slow down
After a while you walk through the hamlet of Vinkenberg. As in other places on your route, you will see a few characteristic old farms here. Walking between the meadows and fields you have beautiful views. You will also experience the tranquility for which the Brabant countryside is so well known. Ideal for a relaxing day. From the bridge over the Wilhelmina Canal you may see some rowing boats leaving for Tilburg.
