Walking from Stellendam to Goedereede

From Stellendam you walk to the historic village of Goedereede. A beautiful tour that also leads you through the varied countryside.

Stellebos
At't Wapen van Stellendam you can enjoy a drink and a snack before you set off. You will soon pass the Bosschieterstraat on the left: if you walk about 100 meters into it, you can admire the beautiful village church from 1819. Further on you walk a bit through the Stellebos, a nature reserve that was created in 1978. In the countryside you can walk along an old dike, extensive meadows and along the leafy banks of the Spui.

Beautiful Goedereede
You walk along the old harbor through the historic heart of Goedereede. In this small town you can easily experience the atmosphere of the past through the many well-preserved buildings. No wonder that Goedereede enjoys a protected cityscape! Here you will see, among other things, the fifteenth-century Goedereede Lighthouse. You will also pass Mill De Windvang from 1791. The last part of the route you walk through the polder and along the Slikken van Flakkee.
