Cycling through Gouda and the surrounding polders

Reeuwijk is located on the medieval Breevaart, where it is wonderful to cycle past beautiful buildings. Then you come through the Reeuwijkse Hout, a damp forest area. Then you look out over the Reeuwijkse Plassen. Here you see beautiful wooden quays and reed beds. The route also takes you through Haastrecht, a picturesque town. Then you cycle into the Krimpenerwaard. Get some fresh air and enjoy the natural beauty and tranquility. In the town itself, thanks to the many old buildings, you can still experience the atmosphere of times gone by. Just like at the end of your route in the historic heart of Gouda. Be sure to stop along the way at Beijersche schuur, winkel & theeschenkerij! Here you can enjoy coffee and tea and immediately take some cheese and regional products with you.
