From the Veluwezoom through the IJsselvallei

Veluwezoom National Park is a real cycling gem. Once you have descended, you will drive through another Gelderland beauty: the IJsselvallei. From the starting point you can drive straight into the Veluwezoom National Park. This means enjoying the peace and quiet and the varied and ancient forests for miles. At junction 25 you pass the Posbank, one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the Netherlands. Via Rheden you drive into the IJsselvallei. From the dike you look out over vast polders and the rippling IJssel. Doesburg is located at the point where the Oude IJssel flows into the Gelderse IJssel. In the beautifully restored old town you will see many characteristic monumental buildings and shops.
