This walking route takes you through Raamsdonksveer and Geertruidenberg. In the countryside you can enjoy the natural beauty and tranquility.
Historic Geertruidenberg
You soon cross the river De Donge to Geertruidenberg, from the bridge you have a beautiful view. On the remains of the old fortifications you walk a bit along the former moat. In the center of Geertruidenberg you can easily absorb the historic atmosphere, what a beautiful place!
Raamsdonksveer
You cross the Donge one more time, after which you walk through the quiet and green countryside. Then you walk back into the pleasant Raamsdonksveer. You can see some beautiful monumental houses here, and you also have a view of the Reformed Church of 1880. You can also taste the history at Fort Lunet. The fortress dates back to 1839 and was built during the Belgian Struggle for Independence.
