Tour of Nieuw-Vennep, Hoofddorp and Westeinderplassen

Your route starts at Het Tuinhuis in the Historic Garden of Aalsmeer. At Vrouwentroost you can take a trip to the Fort near Kudelstaart before cycling to De Kwakel. From junction 30 you drive along the Ringvaart, which forms the border between North and South Holland up to Bilderdam. It is nice and quiet to make miles here. Along the way you will discover Bovenmolen G (hull/remainder) from 1810. Together with lower mill H, this formed the Zouthuissluisgang. Via Leimuiden and Burgerveen you cycle to Nieuw-Vennep. There is plenty of natural beauty to discover around Hoofddorp, such as Park 21, a relatively new nature reserve. Get off at Museum de Cruquius and then take a tour through the nice Heemstede. You drive back to your starting point via the Prins Bernhardbos and the Haarlemmermeerse Bos.
