Description

Around Borculo and Eibergen you cycle through the Berkelland, a region that takes its name from the river Berkel. Here you can enjoy the peace and many sights.

De Scheper The first few kilometres you can immediately'uutbloazen\\\' as you drive through the coulisse landscape of meadows, fields and woods. You drive along the Slinge for a while, one of the streams in this region. Beltrum is the first village on your route. Further on you will pass the sand martin wall on the Het Noasman estate. In the pleasant Eibergen you can get off at Museum De Scheper. Here you will learn more about the regional history.

Mallumse Molen On the other side of the Berkel you will pass the Mallumse Molen from 1748. At the Saxon farm on the other side of the road you can make a pit stop at Restaurant Het Muldershuis. The monumental octagonal church from 1858 in Haarlo is called De Kluntjespot (sugar bowl) by the residents. Borculo is a beautiful town on the Berkel, in the old city center you will see several sights, such as De Stenen Tafel, an eighteenth-century water mill.
