Gliders
That's a special starting point! All around you have a beautiful view of the green Veluwe. The glider airfield was established in the 1930s on the Terletse heath, hence the name. Here you can walk nicely over an ice meltwater plain where Scottish highlanders can be seen.

British bomber
At Terlet there are also secret German positions from the Second World War, concrete remains of radio sounding stations and traces of a crashed British bomber. Back at your starting point it is possible to make a gliding flight yourself. This way you can view the Veluwe in all its glory from above and you will immediately receive an explanation about how gliders work. It will definitely be an experience you will never forget - a very special hiking day!
