Description
This beautiful route takes you across three Zeeland islands: Walcheren, Noord-Beveland and Schouwen-Duiveland. And if you count Neeltje Jans, there are four! The first place on your route is the cozy Zoutelande. In Westkapelle you have a beautiful view of this village from the dike and you can see the Westkapelle Hoog and Laag, the two lighthouses. Domburg has a rich history, which is reflected in the many old buildings. You drive through the De Manteling nature reserve to Noord-Beveland, and a little further on you cycle across the Oosterscheldekering. Stop here for something tasty at Proef Zeeland - Neeltje Jans Mosselen! Westerschouwen Forestry is the largest forest in Zeeland, it was planted at the beginning of the twentieth century as part of job creation.
