Tower City
You can drive straight into the Grote Veld from Europarcs Holiday Parks Resort de Achterhoek. This vast nature reserve with its quiet forests offers you many kilometers of cycling pleasure. Then you drive into picturesque Vorden. This village is known for its castles, but there are also other beautiful monuments to see. Not much later you can enjoy even more cultural history when you cycle through the old center of Zutphen. Thanks to the many spires, this Hanseatic city has a historic skyline.

Ruin Nijenbeek
On the other side of the IJssel you cycle through the Voorster and Wilpse Klei: vast floodplains where old farms are still located on mounds. You will also pass the ruins of Kasteel Nijenbeek from the thirteenth century. Karel III van Gelre wanted to control shipping on the IJssel from this castle. In Gorssel you can visit Museum MORE before you cycle into the small-scale landscape of forests, fields and flowery fields. What a beautiful region!
