Description
From the parking lot you can walk straight onto the beach. Enjoy a breath of fresh air to the sound of the surf. You can fully enjoy the views here, wonderfully relaxing. From the beach you walk through the Verdronken Zwarte Polder, a nature reserve with dunes and scrub. You then walk through the polder to the Zwartgatse Kreek. This inner-dike creek was created after the damming of the Zwarte Gat sea arm in 1602. Walking along the banks you can fully enjoy the silence and natural beauty. At the end of the creek you walk through the Groedse Duintjes, a young nature reserve with scrub, reeds and pools. Do you want to discover more? Groede is a nice place! Groede Podium is also interesting: former bunkers in a park, with a terrace.
