Beautiful views of the Kammenroute

Climbing to the Posbank
The starting point of this route is at the visitor center on the Veluwezoom, close to Rheden. There is enough space to park your car here. From here you head straight through the woods to the open moors for which this area is known. You will pass the sheepfold of the Rhedense Schaapskudde. Fun activities are regularly organized here. For example, you can watch the lambs here in the spring. While walking you slowly climb up to the special viewpoint on the edge of the heaths. When you get there you can relax and take in the view completely. Especially when the heather is in bloom at the end of the summer, it is breathtakingly beautiful here.

Back to the beginning
Then it is time to slowly descend to the lower starting point of the route. You walk over hilly paths and over a long stone staircase. You will eventually arrive at the visitor center on the edge of the nature reserve.

Carefree on the road
This entire route runs on unpaved and hilly paths. So you really enjoy going out in the middle of nature. Furthermore, the entire route is indicated with black arrows. So you can easily follow the route without too much searching.
