It is surprisingly nice to walk around the central Limburg church village of Kelpen-Oler. You will find plenty of peace and quiet here, and you will also discover two special nature reserves here: Keversbroek and De Moost.
The route starts at Grandcafé Bie de Tied, an authentic cozy village café just next to the village church. Grab a terrace here before you walk into the outside area. You walk into the meadows, so that you immediately get in the right mood. How nice and quiet it is here! You walk into the Keversbroek. This special nature reserve consists of a succession of hay meadows, wet grasslands and woodlands with poplars and alders.
Further on you walk along the banks of the Tungelroyse Beek. In this idyllic landscape you can enjoy the rippling water, the reed fringes and the meadows and fields that you see around you. After a while you walk to the Moost via a car-free road. This private nature reserve has been transformed into a special forest of spells: a great experience! It is then a lovely walk along the canal along the many trees and shrubs. Time for a terrace Bie de Tied!
