Description
It is surprisingly nice to walk around the Central Limburg church village of Kelpen-Oler. You will find plenty of peace and quiet, and you will also discover two special nature reserves here: Keversbroek and De Moost.
Beetle pants
The route starts at Grandcafé Bie de Tied, an authentic cozy village café just next to the village church. Grab a terrace here before you walk into the countryside. You walk into the meadows, so that you immediately get into the right mood. How peaceful it is here! You walk into Keversbroek. This special nature reserve consists of a series of hay meadows, wet grasslands and forest plots with poplars and alders.
The Moost
Further on you walk along the bank of the Tungelroyse Beek. In this idyllic landscape you can enjoy the rippling water, the reed collars and the meadows and fields that you see around you. After a while you walk to the Moost via a car-free road. This private nature reserve has been transformed into a special spell forest: a fun experience! You can then take a lovely walk along the canal along the many trees and shrubs. Time for a terrace at Bie de Tied!
