Kienehoef
You will soon cycle past the free-to-visit De Kienehoef Recreation Park, a 20-hectare park with beautiful ponds where you often see fishermen. You can also rent a rowing boat here or have a drink in the accompanying pavilion. You'll immediately get into the holiday mood!
Hell\\\'s Highway
Then you pass L116: Hell\\\'s Highway, one of the locations of the Liberation Route. During Operation Market Garden, German troops bombarded the road along which the British XXXth Army Corps was advancing, hence the nickname. You cycle into the Dommeldal through the woods near Schijndel. Here you see Mill De Genenberg from 1841. Now it is a house. You will also come across typical Brabant villages along the way. Gemonde originally consisted of four hamlets, which is still clearly visible.
